About Leduc
Leduc is a city in west-central Alberta, Canada. It is 33 km (21 mi) south of the provincial capital of Edmonton and is part of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. It is the third-largest city in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region and the 11th-largest city in Alberta. The city was named after Father Hippolyte Leduc, a Roman Catholic priest who helped to build the Canadian Pacific Railway in the area.
Leduc is located on the east bank of the North Saskatchewan River. The city is located in the river valley formed by the North Saskatchewan and South Saskatchewan Rivers.
Leduc is a major center for oil and gas exploration and production. It is the center of a large agricultural region and is a transportation hub for the Edmonton region. The city is a significant commercial and industrial center in western Canada. Leduc ranks among the top 10 cities in Alberta for business.
Leduc is home to a large campus of the University of Alberta, one of the largest universities in the province.

Public Transports Nearby Leduc
The Edmonton International Airport is located at the southeastern corner of Leduc County close to the City of Leduc and the Town of Devon.
The airport is accessible from Highway 2, Queen Elizabeth II, but two other routes lead directly to the airport: one from the west and north via Airport Road and 8 Street in Leduc; and another from the west via Highway 60 in Devon.
The Leduc Bus Transit provides public transit service between Leduc, Leduc County, Nisku, and Edmonton International Airport. The Airport Express departs regularly from the main terminal at Edmonton International Airport and makes stops in Nisku at both ends of Nisku Industrial Park, as well as several stops in downtown Leduc.
The Edmonton Transit System (ETS) also provides transit service between downtown Edmonton (Central Station) and Edmonton International Airport via Century Park Station on its Route 747 bus line.
