World Waterpark

World Waterpark is a large indoor water park located at West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The park is the world’s second-largest indoor water park after Tropical Islands Resort in Krausnick, Germany.

With over 17 million gallons of water, it is home to many unique attractions you can’t find anywhere else. From the massive waves in the 1.3 million gallon Wave Pool to the thrilling water slides, the World Waterpark has fun for everybody. The park has a maximum capacity of 25,000 guests per day. Its five acres (20,000 m²) are lined with over 250 trees and 1,500 tropical plants. The average temperature inside is 30°C (86°F) while the water remains a constant 28°C (82°F), except for the Blue Thunder slide which features a cold pool that cools down to approximately 14-16°C (58-60°F).

The World Waterpark was named one of the top-10 water parks in North America by TripAdvisor and is a must-visit destination when you are in Edmonton.
